Here are some inspiring ideas brought together by Juraj Karlík of Neopolis in his new project, a two-room flat located in a building in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. The press release we were sent begins with describing a small foyer serving as the entrance to the entire flat. It is furnished with a cloakscreen with a shoe rack, a big mirror and a small chest of drawers for smaller items. Apart from the main living area, the foyer also leads into the coatroom and the bathroom.
The living area and the kitchen are connected in a U-shape in a way that the very end of the kitchen work-top continues into a slightly higher dining table with a dresser. This part also visually separates the kitchen and the living room. The light colors of the living room nicely match the red kitchen and it is bright thanks to the large windows covering the whole wall. The bedroom is situated behind the sliding door leading out of the living room. A workplace with a work table and a bookcase take a large part of the room.
